Valverde is a unique, country-style hotel in the Muldersdrift area specialising in conferences and weddings.

Valverde has 2 wedding venues catering for 20 to 200 guests. Each wedding venue has its own chapel and reception area for the privacy of your guests. Valverde also caters for garden ceremonies, morning weddings and picnic weddings.

We do not charge venue hire. You only pay the menu price per person and a 10% service charge. Menu prices range from R250 to 320 per person for an afternoon/evening wedding.

We are available for viewings from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 to 16:00, no appointment needed!

Our menu prices include the following:

  • The use of the Chapel or garden for the ceremony. Red carpet, pews or chairs, candle stands, etc.
  • The Venue hire with tables and chairs (wrought iron or banquet chairs)
  • Cutlery, white crockery and glassware, silver knife and cake lifter
  • White or black table linen (full length table cloths and serviettes)

Not included:
  • Drinks
  • Decor (draping, chair covers, overlays, flowers, centrepieces)
  • Accommodation / Bridal Suite

    Kings Hall and Jasmine Chapel

    The Kings Hall seats up to 120 guests, with a spacious raised dance floor, fire place and a separate buffet area. The Jasmine Chapel overlooks the Elandsdrift Valley and the Renaissance garden. It is furnished with wrought iron features, wooden pews, a red carpet and an arch at the entrance. The garden can be used as an alternate venue for the wedding ceremony. Minimum 80 guests on a Saturday afternoon.

    The Olive Lapa and Vista Chapel

    The Olive Lapa seats up to 200 guests (indoor and outdoor seating) and is decorated with fairy lights and lanterns. The Vista Chapel is furnished with banquet chairs, a wooden cross and red carpet. The adjacent Renaissance garden can be used as an alternate venue for the wedding ceremony. Both the Olive Lapa and the Vista Chapel overlook the Elandsdrift Valley. Minimum 100 guests on a Saturday afternoon.

    We offer affordable wedding packages that include accommodation, draping, candles and welcome drinks.

    We host regular Mini Wedding Expos, where Valverdes team of recommended suppliers will showcase their work, from stationery and decor to photography, music and cakes. A jumping castle and child minder will be available. Booking is essential for those who wish to come earlier for a champagne breakfast (from 7.00 to 10.00, price R75 per person) or for a full wedding menu buffet (from 12.30 to 13.30, price R100 per person).
